He sailed away to find Love
Then he discovered My Mother
Along the Panama Canal
Their Love was stronger than others

They married in Little Anocn
A Town in the Old Canal Zone
Then a short time later, they moved
Sunny San Diego was now Home

Seven challenging years past by
Untill Matt and I, hand in hand
Labored into this Life of Hope
Near Coronado Islands Sand

When we returned to Panama
To our Land of Fish and Palms
We grew up in Little Gatun
Where we Learned to Give Thanks and Alms

I fished at the Gatun Yacht Club
On many memorable days
My big bass stories are legends
Today my Friends are still amazed

Then we moved to Margarita
Close to Cristobal and Colon
I began to know my brother
Mario was taken to young
