MODELERS 1941: Miller Field in Fort Clayton where the 790C boys take 3 out of the 4 top prizes in the first model airplane contest ever held on the Isthmus of Panama and sponsored by PAA. The military censors have blanked out the hills behind us in the photo. All four prizes were the same, a round trip from Balboa to Colon and back on PAAs daily DC-3 service.  L/R Allan Bentz and Marshall Hughes. Kneeling L/R are John Rossetti and George Chevalier. See the newspaper article.
